The Green Narrows is our backyard run. If you haven’t been there you’ve heard all the stories. For info on the run, check out the North Carolina Rivers and Creeks book. Access remains questionable but thanks to the folks at Liquid Logic, American Whitewater and the Green River Access Fund there is still a parking lot at the put-in. Be careful with beers at the take out, go slow on the road to the put-in and eat at the Green River Barbecue in Saluda (near the take-out). We are always shooting photos at Gorilla on the first weekend of November and at the “Jerry’s Baddle” biathalon in the spring.
